We are an innovative company committed to advancing liver health. Our vision and mission drive us to shape the future of liver health by empowering medical professionals to provide simpler, faster, and more effective patient care.

Our journey began with an idea that originated in Paris, within Prof. Fink’s lab. Initially stemming from a PhD thesis, this idea evolved into transient elastography (TE), which we patented in 1999. Along the way, we encountered passionate individuals who helped us realize the potential applications of TE, first in the food industry and then in healthcare.

The pivotal moment came when science and medicine converged at Institut Mutualiste Montsouris, where we began exploring how our technology could enhance patient care in hepatology. This collaboration led to the creation of FibroScan® by echosens, the world's first non-invasive tool for assessing and monitoring patients with chronic liver disease. Nearly two decades later, FibroScan® has facilitated millions of liver examinations globally.

While we cherish our roots and history, we are particularly enthusiastic about forging partnerships with scientists, physicians, and healthcare professionals. Together, we have generated over 4,200 publications advocating for the use of FibroScan®. We deeply appreciate their contributions and pioneering spirit as we work together to make liver assessment faster, simpler, and more effective.
