MOLICEL, the battery brand of E‑One Moli Energy Corporation, is a Taiwanese company founded in 1998, with roots tracing back to 1977. Sister company to Taiwan Cement Corporation, it has over four decades of expertise in designing and producing high-performance cylindrical lithium-ion cells. MOLICEL’s batteries are engineered for ultra-high power and energy density, and are used in demanding sectors such as electric vehicles, power tools, aerospace, medical devices, motorsports, and aviation. In 2024–2025, it launched the S Series—ultra-high-power 18650/21700 cells optimized for battery backup units, data centers, AI computing, drones, and eVTOL aircraft. It operates state-of-the-art gigafactories in Kaohsiung and plans a new facility in Canada.
