Originally located in Birmingham, we embraced Weston's seaside charm in 1962, benefiting from the local council's initiative to boost tourism and farming by subsidizing building land and relocation costs for new businesses.

Formerly known as Nick-El-Ectro in 1935, our journey led to the current name, Nickel-Electro, in 1964, a nod to our commitment to simplicity. Despite the historical ambiguity of our name, we want to clarify that we are not associated with electro-plating.

The Clifton brand, inspired by Bristol's Clifton Suspension Bridge, embodies engineering excellence.
