Theraclion
Country: France

Theraclion's journey began in 2004 with the start of its research phase. By 2014, they delivered their first ECHOPULSE® device, used for treating thyroid nodules and breast fibroadenoma. In 2017, they began collaborating with the University of Virginia Cancer Center on breast cancer research. In 2019, they launched SONOVEIN®, the first robotic platform for treating varicose veins, followed by SONOVEIN HD in 2022. By 2024, SONOVEIN is available in over 15 countries, including Europe, China, and the USA.

Surgery, as traditionally practiced, involves significant patient burden, including cutting, anesthesia, and long recovery times, which can lead to anxiety and high healthcare costs. Theraclion addresses these challenges by reducing peri-operative complications and improving health economics through echotherapy. This method combines high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), detailed ultrasound imaging, and advanced data learning, offering precision and ease of use for practitioners and non-invasive, scar-free treatment for patients with quick recovery times.

Theraclion leads innovation through extensive clinical research and artificial intelligence. They are currently in phase 2 investigations in the US, combining their platform with immunotherapy for breast cancer. Their technology is designed to be self-learning, integrating AI into treatment to determine best practices beyond human capability.

Theraclion is revolutionizing extracorporeal surgery, making it accessible to all patients, and transforming the paradigm of medical treatment through continuous innovation and the integration of AI.
