1012WCC: a High-Performance Medical Detector for Accurate Diagnosis
The Rayence 1012WCC is a wireless flat panel detector specially designed to meet the high demands of radiology departments. Featuring a caesium iodide (CsI:Tl) scintillator, it guarantees high detective quantum efficiency (DQE), delivering very high-quality radiographic images with reduced radiation dose for the patient. This performance makes it particularly suitable for examinations where detail accuracy is essential, such as paediatric, neonatal or extremity imaging.
Its ergonomic design with tapered edges and non-slip surface ensures easy handling, whether in the radiology department or in a mobile setting. Thanks to its slim profile (1.5 cm thick) and low weight of 1.75 kg (including battery), it reduces operator fatigue and improves the speed of examinations.
Robustness and Reliability in Medical Environments
The 1012WCC is designed to withstand the demanding conditions of hospital environments. Its magnesium monocoque structure, combined with a carbon fibre composition, gives it high resistance to shocks, vibrations and scratches. It can withstand distributed pressure of up to 661 lb (approx. 300 kg) and point pressure of 330 lb, ensuring optimal durability even during intensive use.
Its IPX6 certification ensures water resistance, protecting it from splashes and sprays commonly found in medical environments. This waterproofing also allows for safe use in certain outdoor applications when conditions require it.
Fast and Continuous Workflows
Designed to optimise the workflow of healthcare professionals, the Rayence 1012WCC allows image preview in less than 2 seconds (2x2 binning mode), helping to reduce examination time and improve patient care. With an internal storage capacity of 200 images, it remains operational even in the event of a temporary loss of connection to the acquisition system.
Its typical battery life of 4 hours, combined with compatibility with a portable IrDA charger, makes it a reliable tool for full days of work. The Room Sharing feature facilitates integration into different radiology workstations, allowing flexible resource sharing within the same facility.
