IKA Rocker 2D Digital: a precision rocking shaker for homogeneous mixing in the laboratory
The Rocker 2D Digital from IKA is a laboratory device designed to meet the demanding requirements of professionals for gentle and homogeneous mixing. Its direct drive motor ensures constant speed, even in the event of voltage fluctuations or load variations, guaranteeing perfect mixing homogeneity throughout the shaking cycle.
The shaking speed is adjustable from 5 to 80 rpm in 1 rpm increments via an easy-to-use touch membrane keypad. This precision allows for optimal adaptation to different experimental protocols. In addition, the tilt angle is adjustable from 2.5° to 15°, allowing the mixing conditions to be optimised according to the nature and volume of the samples. The user can choose between continuous or timed operation thanks to a programmable timer ranging from 1 second to 99 hours and 59 minutes. A 7-segment LED display provides real-time information on the elapsed or remaining time.
Safety and stability are also ensured: a non-slip rubber mat keeps the containers in place during agitation. The device is also stackable, saving valuable space in laboratories with limited space. Its IP21 protection makes it resistant to solid particles larger than 12 mm and vertical liquid projections, enhancing its durability.
