3M™ Bair Hugger™ Model 750: The warming module that guarantees optimal and safe thermal management
The 3M™ Bair Hugger™ Model 750 warming module is at the heart of 3M's Total Temperature Management™ system, recognised worldwide for its reliability and effectiveness in preventing perioperative hypothermia. It provides precise control of patients' body temperature through a flow of warm air distributed via single-use Bair Hugger™ blankets or gowns. This device significantly improves clinical outcomes by maintaining normothermia, particularly in surgery, intensive care and post-operative recovery.
Featuring a simple and intuitive control panel, the 750 model offers four settings: 32°C, 38°C, 43°C and an ambient mode. The temperature is selected with a single click, and the machine displays the outlet temperature at the end of the hose connected to the patient in real time. Thanks to its accurate temperature sensor, the unit automatically regulates the heat supplied and ensures that the temperature remains constant, with a tolerance of ±1.5°C, thus guaranteeing constant thermal comfort without the risk of burns.
This module is designed to work exclusively with compatible 3M accessories, such as Bair Hugger™ blankets, Bair Paws™ gowns and the 241™ blood fluid warming device. A visual and audible alarm immediately alerts you in the event of overheating or system failure, ensuring optimal safety. If the temperature is exceeded, the heating and ventilation are immediately shut off to prevent thermal injury.
The 750 model is also appreciated for its robustness. It can be installed on a mobile trolley, placed on a flat surface or attached to an IV pole. Easy to maintain, it has a high-efficiency air filter that can be replaced every 12 months or 500 hours of use, as well as an integrated diagnostic system for viewing error history, usage time and performing safety tests.
Designed for demanding clinical environments, this module combines thermal performance, ergonomics and safety. It complies with international medical standards (IEC 60601-1, EN 80601-2-35) and integrates seamlessly into patient-centred care protocols.
With its cutting-edge technology and ease of use, the Bair Hugger™ Model 750 is an essential tool in the fight against intraoperative hypothermia, enabling healthcare teams to provide high-quality care while ensuring patient thermal comfort.
