ADAM-MC cell counter

The ADAM-MC from NanoEntek is a compact , high-performance automated cell counter designed specifically for cell culture laboratories. Using fluorescent imaging technology and specific reagents, it provides accurate measurements of cell viability, total count and concentration. Easy to use, fast and reliable, the ADAM-MC eliminates human error associated with manual methods such as microscope counting with a Neubauer chamber. It is ideal for researchers, biologists and technicians looking to optimise their workflow without compromising accuracy.

Description

ADAM-MC: The next-generation automated cell counter for reliable and fast analysis

The ADAM-MC (Automated Digital Cell Counter with Advanced Microfluidics and Fluorescence Cell Counting) developed by NanoEntek is a high-precision cell counting device designed to meet the growing needs for speed, reliability and reproducibility in cell culture laboratories. Using fluorescent detection technology combined with a patented microfluidic system, this device can accurately count viable and dead cells in seconds, while also assessing cell concentration.

One of the great advantages of ADAM-MC is its ease of use. Thanks to ready-to-use reagent kits and intuitive software, users can start an analysis in three simple steps: pipetting the sample, inserting it into the cartridge, and starting the measurement. Unlike the traditional method of counting under an optical microscope with trypan blue staining, ADAM-MC uses DNA-specific fluorescent dyes (such as PI and Hoechst), allowing clear discrimination between viable and non-viable cells, even in complex samples.

The device's software interface not only allows immediate visualisation of the cell images captured by the high-resolution CCD camera, but also automatic analysis with the generation of results in the form of exportable reports. Each measurement is accompanied by fluorescent images and detailed statistics (viability in %, concentration, total number of cells, etc.), facilitating the traceability of experiments.

Compact and ergonomic, the ADAM-MC fits easily into any laboratory space without requiring a dedicated environment. It is compatible with a wide range of cell types (adherent or suspended animal cells) and is particularly appreciated in cell line production, biotechnology research and pharmaceutical product development environments.

The reproducibility of results is another strong point of the device: process automation significantly reduces inter-user variability and improves the overall reliability of analyses. In addition, the ADAM-MC requires minimal maintenance thanks to a design that does not require complex internal maintenance and single-use cartridges that prevent cross-contamination between samples.

The ADAM-MC is positioned as an essential solution for laboratories seeking to automate and improve the reliability of their cell counting. It saves valuable time while guaranteeing consistent and scientifically robust results.
