LHG-4AG series : An ultra-clean, economical and quiet protection solution for your critical environments
The LHG-4AG horizontal laminar flow hood from Esco Lifesciences has been designed to meet the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and energy efficiency in sensitive environments. This model embodies the new generation of laminar flow hoods thanks to major technological innovations and an ergonomic design tailored to the needs of modern laboratories.
Equipped with an ECM DC motor, the LHG-4AG guarantees a stable airflow despite voltage fluctuations or gradual filter clogging. This motor also offers energy savings of up to 70% compared to conventional AC systems, helping to reduce operating costs without compromising performance. The hood offers an ISO 3-rated working area, well above the usual ISO 5 standard, thanks to its ultra-high efficiency ULPA filter (>99.999% for particles from 0.1 to 0.3 µm), ensuring unrivalled protection for the products being handled.
Designed with maximum safety in mind, the LHG-4AG is equipped with the Sentinel™ Gold control system, a microprocessor that displays the airflow status in real time, signals any anomalies and allows intuitive management of the hood. When inactive, standby mode automatically reduces fan power while maintaining ISO 5 cleanliness, extending component life and saving energy.
In terms of comfort, the hood features a powerful LED lighting system (up to 1139 Lux), a noise level below 56 dBA to reduce hearing fatigue, and an Isocide™ antibacterial coating on the entire structure to limit microbial growth. Its stainless steel worktop and tempered glass side walls ensure visibility, robustness and ease of cleaning.
The LHG-4AG is compatible with a wide range of accessories to customise the installation to the specific needs of each laboratory: electrical sockets, IV bars, castors or fixed feet, UV lamps, etc. Certified to international standards (ISO 14644-1 Class 3, EN 1822 H14, UL 61010), it fits perfectly into any laboratory environment where quality, precision and reliability are essential.
