Alliance HPLC: a reliable solution for reproducible results
For more than two decades, the Alliance® HPLC system has been the standard in laboratories around the world. Designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern analytical methods, it delivers consistent performance and outstanding accuracy, even after years of use. Its robust design and features ensure reliable results, day after day, while making maintenance and configuration easy.
The system's reliability is based on key features such as the needle-through injector, which provides exceptional injection accuracy over a wide range of volumes, and programmable needle washing, ensuring low cross-contamination. These features allow users to easily switch from one method to another without reconfiguration, while maintaining consistent performance.
Optimised productivity and analytical flexibility
The Alliance HPLC system is designed to maximise laboratory efficiency. With Auto.Blend™ technology, up to four solvents can be mixed in any proportion, reducing variability associated with manual mobile phase preparation. The SystemPREP automatic preparation module simplifies daily system start-up, saving users time and reducing errors.
The system's flexibility is also evident in its compatibility with a wide range of detectors: photodiode array, UV/Vis, fluorescence, refractive index, evaporative light scattering, electrochemical, conductivity and mass detection. This diversity allows the system to be adapted to a multitude of applications, from small molecules to biomolecules and polymers.
The system also supports heating and cooling of samples and columns, ensuring optimal thermal stability for method reproducibility. Integration with Empower® and MassLynx® software facilitates data management and results analysis.
Sustainable performance and technological scalability
One of the major advantages of the HPLC Alliance is its ability to maintain high performance over the long term.
The addition of the ACQUITY® QDa® mass detector enriches analytical data without changing existing methods. It facilitates peak identification, compound tracking during method development and increases confidence in results. Seamless integration with Empower 3 Software allows simultaneous viewing of UV and MS data.
The use of CORTECS® 2.7 µm or XP 2.5 µm columnsimproves chromatographic resolution, reduces analysis times and increases productivity, while complying with USP <621> method tolerances.
