The intuitive SmarText™ 2.0 interface enables seamless navigation through 14 built-in applications, including weighing, formulation, piece counting, and density determination. The 5.7-inch color VGA touchscreen offers excellent visibility and responds to both finger touch and stylus input. A full alphanumeric keypad allows for easy entry of GLP/GMP data, while the built-in user management system supports administrator rights for enhanced control.
The EX124 features a fully automated internal calibration system, AutoCal™, which calibrates the balance in response to temperature changes or after 11-hour intervals. This eliminates the need for external weights and reduces maintenance costs. Manual calibration is also available when required.
From a design perspective, the EX124 offers a modular setup with a detachable display, making it easy to integrate into any lab environment. Its large, antistatic draft shield provides exceptional visibility of the weighing chamber and allows easy handling of large containers. The specially treated glass reduces electrostatic interference, further enhancing measurement accuracy.
Four touchless sensors located on the base and display enable key functions such as taring, printing, and calibration without physical contact—minimizing the risk of cross-contamination. Leveling is simplified with an illuminated front-level indicator and ergonomic leveling feet.
Adapted to all lab settings, the EX124 is equipped with built-in USB and RS232 ports, optional Ethernet and second RS232 connectivity, and direct data transfer capabilities to Excel. It is powered by an ENERGY STAR® certified adapter, ensuring low energy consumption.
