AriaTele 96281 Telemetry Transmitter – A solution for ambulatory monitoring
The AriaTele 96281 model from Spacelabs Healthcare is a medical telemetry solution designed to meet the growing demands of continuous patient monitoring in hospital environments. This portable device provides reliable ECG monitoring and, depending on the model, oxygen saturation (SpO₂) measurement, while offering an intuitive user interface thanks to its colour LCD screen.
The transmitter's ergonomic design, with its compact dimensions (132 x 75 x 22 mm) and weight of less than 200 g, ensures optimal patient comfort. Its water resistance (IPX7 standard) allows for safe use even in high humidity conditions or during care involving liquids.
The model is available in three versions:
- 96281-A: ECG without display
- 96281-B: ECG with display
- 96281-C: ECG and SpO₂ with display
Each version is equipped with LED indicators for lead faults and battery level, as well as a remote recording button. The electrodes are connected via individually replaceable DIN safety wires, ensuring easy maintenance.
Compatibility with Spacelabs systems such as the 96280 Xhibit telemetry receiver and Ultraview SL monitors allows seamless integration into existing hospital infrastructures. However, some frequency band options (such as the 32 G and 48 H models) are only compatible with the 96280 receiver.
The transmitter complies with IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60601-2-27 standards, ensuring defibrillator protection and signal reproduction accuracy. It is also CE and CSA certified, meeting international regulatory requirements.
With a battery life of over 72 hours using AA alkaline batteries, the AriaTele 96281 model ensures continuous, uninterrupted monitoring. It also features pacemaker pulse detection and effective interference rejection.
The AriaTele 96281 transmitter is a robust, versatile and comfortable solution for ECG and SpO₂ monitoring, tailored to modern clinical needs.
