ASI 100 T – Flexibility, precision and reliability for automated HPLC injection
Designed to meet the high demands of analytical laboratories, the ASI 100 T from Thermo Fisher Scientific is a sophisticated automatic sampler for automating sample injection into high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) systems. The system features a modular carousel divided into three 120° sectors, each of which can be configured for different vial types and sizes, including 0.25 mL to 4 mL formats. This allows multiple vial types to be mixed on the same carousel, while the device automatically identifies the formats installed. This makes the ASI 100 T extremely flexible for various analysis protocols.
In terms of programming, the user can configure sample sequences either via the device's intuitive control panel or via the CHROMELEON™ software, which offers a more advanced interface for injection management, dilution automation, reagent addition and complex batch analysis. In addition, a sequence in progress can be interrupted to insert a priority sample using the "Quick Sample" function.
The device is robust and designed for easy maintenance. Critical components such as the syringe and sampling loop are easily accessible for replacement. The system also records usage data (number of injections, valve movements, wear and tear on parts), facilitating preventive maintenance.
