It is compatible with a wide range of analytical methods, including atomic absorption spectrometry (AA), inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP), mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), total organic carbon (TOC), UV-VIS spectrophotometry, as well as fraction collection and liquid handling.
The XYZ axes move silently, smoothly and can be configured with adjustable speed and high-resolution positioning. This level of precision allows the use of 96-well plates, making the system suitable for protocols requiring high throughput or miniaturisation. The automatic repositioning mechanism ensures consistent alignment, limiting positioning errors and manual intervention.
In terms of design, the ASX-280 features an injection-moulded plastic structure that improves the chemical compatibility and durability of the device.
