The Nidek AR-330A auto-refractometer is a medical device that offers exceptional accuracy in measuring refraction. Thanks to its innovative technology, it provides reliable and realistic data for a more precise prescription of optical corrections.
This device analyzes a wider area (up to ø4 mm) to obtain reliable and realistic data, thus coming closer to subjective refraction. This method ensures precise and dependable measurement.
Furthermore, it utilizes SLD (Super Luminescent Diode) technology in combination with a highly sensitive CCD to enhance image quality. Images captured with the SLD are sharper and clearer than those obtained with traditional LEDs. Even in cases of dense cataracts or intraocular implants, the system offers a significantly improved measurement capability.
This refractometer offers the widest measurement range, from -30 to +25D. It can also measure pupils as small as 2 mm in diameter, significantly broadening its application scope.
The device is equipped with a tiltable 5.7-inch color LCD screen that displays images and data clearly, making it user-friendly. Additionally, the projected mire rings on the cornea improve observation of corneal shape and irregular astigmatism.
The AR-330A features 3D automatic tracking, which includes automatic alignment (X and Y directions), automatic focusing (Z direction), and automatic measurement taking. Once alignment is correctly achieved, the measurement starts automatically.
An exclusive feature is the virtual vision comparison. By pressing the vision comparison button, you can easily compare the patient's current vision (with the naked eye or with glasses) with the vision corrected by the AR-330A.
Moreover, the AR-330A is equipped with a chin rest with simple buttons for smoother operation. The main body can be secured with a one-touch lock for added stability.
The device also features a user-friendly high-speed printer with easy loading and auto-cutting. Printed data, such as refraction values, PD, and confidence coefficient, can be selected and printed. It also includes an EyeCare Card slot for quick and wireless data transfer.
