AutoCAT 2 WAVE – FiberOptix™ technology for unrivalled accuracy
AutoCAT 2 WAVE incorporates FiberOptixâ„¢ technology, an innovation that enables direct, ultra-accurate blood pressure measurement via the intra-aortic balloon. This technology eliminates interference and ensures reliable readings, even in the most demanding clinical environments. The system automatically recognises pressure signals and performs intelligent calibration, ensuring optimal synchronisation with the patient's cardiac cycle.
Thanks to the integrated indicator light, clinicians can check the sensor's connection and calibration status at a glance. This feature reduces human error and improves patient safety.
AutoPilotâ„¢ mode: intelligent and adaptive assistance
AutoPilotâ„¢ mode is at the heart of AutoCAT 2 WAVE. This intelligent system automatically selects the best ECG or blood pressure signal source, adjusts inflation and deflation parameters, and chooses the trigger mode best suited to the patient's haemodynamic status. In the event of signal loss or noise, the system switches to an alternative source without manual intervention.
This automation enables continuous, secure care while freeing up time for caregivers. Operator mode remains available for users who wish to customise settings according to specific needs.
Intuitive interface and features for intensive care
AutoCAT 2 WAVE is designed for quick and easy use. Its user interface features clear function keys for ECG selection, blood pressure, triggering, balloon volume and assist ratio. Trigger options include ECG, blood pressure, irregular heartbeat (AFIB), and pacemaker (Apace/Vpace), allowing adaptation to all patient profiles.
The system also offers a progressive weaning mode with adjustable assist ratios (1:1, 1:2, 1:4, 1:8), facilitating the transition to cardiac autonomy. Intelligent alarms, classified by severity level, ensure continuous monitoring and rapid response to abnormalities.
The AutoCAT 2 WAVE incorporates an automatic ECG and blood pressure curve printing system, as well as a haemodynamic calculation module for analysing assisted and unassisted systolic and diastolic pressures.
