LIFEPAK CR2 Trainer: Training Device for CPR and LIFEPAK CR2 Defibrillator Use
The LIFEPAK CR2 Trainer by Physio-Control is a simulation device designed for training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillation. It is designed to replicate the actions and voice prompts of the LIFEPAK CR2 defibrillator, providing a realistic and immersive training experience without delivering shocks. This model is ideal for training rescuers and healthcare professionals, allowing them to practice using an automated external defibrillator (AED) under realistic conditions.
This training device features two pre-configured scenarios that can be easily customized via the configuration screen to meet the specific needs of each training session. The LIFEPAK CR2 Trainer simulates heart rhythm analysis, voice prompts, and CPR steps, but does not deliver any shocks. It also includes features such as movement detection simulation and the ability to customize CPR intervals.
The device is designed for simple and intuitive use, without the need for a remote control. Once the electrodes are applied to a mannequin, the device detects their position and automatically progresses to the next step in the scenario. The configuration screen allows easy customization of the scenarios, including the number of heart rhythm analyses and language choices for voice prompts.
The LIFEPAK CR2 Trainer is built to withstand intensive use in controlled environments. It is powered by four LR20 (D) batteries, providing an operational time of 60 to 120 hours depending on usage intensity. The device offers splash protection and is designed to operate within a temperature range of 3°C to 38°C.
In addition to its standard training use, the device can simulate a "device not ready" state if the electrodes are not properly installed, adding an extra layer of training for malfunction scenarios.
The LIFEPAK CR2 Trainer is designed to be easily updated via a USB port for software updates, ensuring the latest software versions are installed for optimal training.
