PS 910 - The Automated Perimeter
The PS-910 Automated Perimeter is a diagnostic tool designed for precise and rapid assessment of the visual field using static stimuli. With its wide range of testing strategies, it enables accurate examinations and quick screenings for various eye conditions.
The device offers a drivers' test function, thanks to the binocular driving test which assesses a binasal field of 160 degrees. Implementation of the Binocular Single Vision (BSV) strategy allows examination of diplopia areas. Additionally, this device offers an examination using flicker stimuli to measure the Critical Fusion Frequency (CFF).
A particular strategy, blue-yellow (SWAP), helps identify visual field defects associated with early-stage glaucoma, even before they are detected by standard perimeters. This can also aid in spotting early signs of hypertensive eye disorders and neurological diseases.
Test results are presented in easily interpretable graphs, referenced to the patient's age norm and visual field hill. Impressions provide additional essential information for interpretation, such as the Mean Defect (MD), Pattern Defect (PD), Bebie curve, Hill of Vision progression analysis, and defects.
With a built-in digital camera, eye tracking, eye detection, and pupil position detection are ensured. Additionally, automatic fixation control during the examination is possible. The presence of an electrically controlled chinrest allows for precise and easy patient positioning.
