Ambu® aView™ monitor: a portable solution for modern endoscopy
Ambu® aView™ is an 8.5-inch TFT LCD colour monitor designed to meet the endoscopic visualisation requirements of healthcare professionals. Compatible with Ambu® devices such as aScope™ 4 Broncho, aScope™ 4 RhinoLaryngo, aScope™ 3 and VivaSight™ 2 DLT/SLT, it is a versatile solution for procedures in the upper and lower airways.
Its compact design allows for table-top or IV pole mounting with a minimal footprint. The image appears in one second after power-up, ensuring optimal responsiveness in demanding clinical environments.
Advanced features for optimised visualisation
The Ambu® aView™ plug-and-play system makes it easy to transport and set up. When connected to an Ambu® endoscope, it provides clear, accurate images, facilitating anatomical identification and navigation. The Image Extend feature allows the live image to be enlarged for better visibility, while the video-out port allows display on an external monitor, ideal for training or demonstrations.
The intuitive user interface allows images and videos to be captured and stored for later review. File transfer is simplified with the USB Type A connection. In battery mode, the screen displays the remaining battery life for better power management.
Designed for mobility and durability in hospital environments
Ambu® aView™ runs on a lithium-ion battery (10.8 V, 4300 mAh) with a typical battery life of 3 hours. It is suitable for a wide range of environmental conditions: operating temperatures between 10 and 40°C, relative humidity from 30 to 85%, and atmospheric pressure from 80 to 109 kPa. It is IP30 certified for protection against intrusion.
With dimensions of 241 mm x 175 mm x 33.5 mm and a weight of 1.5 kg, it is easily transportable. The system complies with the VESA MIS-D, 75 C standard for mounting, and its external power supply is compatible with voltages from 100 to 240 V AC.
