With external dimensions identical to its 17- and 22-litre counterparts, the 28-litre model optimises space without compromising on performance.
One of the major innovations of the B Futura 28 is its intelligent water management system. Thanks to an integrated demineralising filter, the autoclave can operate with mains water without the need for an external treatment device. Sensors ensure constant monitoring of water quality, and automatic messages inform the user of the filter status, guaranteeing optimal operation at all times.
The 5-inch colour touchscreen, made entirely of glass, allows intuitive navigation through simple menus and clear graphics. This interface not only makes daily operations smooth, but also includes video tutorials to guide the user through the various stages of operation, enhancing operator autonomy and safety. The programmed reminders for regular tests (Empty Test, Helix, Bowie & Dick) ensure ongoing compliance with sterilisation protocols.
The efficiency of the B Futura 28 is also evident in its fast sterilisation cycles. A complete type B cycle at 134°C can be completed in just 44 minutes (31 minutes with modular drying). The latter automatically adjusts the drying phase according to the load, optimising the overall process time while ensuring perfect drying, even for complex loads.
In terms of connectivity, the B Futura 28 is equipped with built-in Wi-Fi and can connect to cloud platforms such as Di.V.A. and EasyCheck. These systems allow remote access to cycle reports, usage statistics, preventive maintenance and remote technical support, reducing downtime. The SterilConnect option allows direct interaction between the autoclave and a smartphone or tablet for centralised and intuitive management.
In terms of traceability, the B Futura 28 can generate QR code labels containing all cycle information, which can be printed via a shared network printer. An optional barcode reader allows these labels to be linked to patient files via the MyTrace software.
Designed to integrate into an automated sterilisation workflow, the B Futura 28 can be complemented by other Mocom equipment such as Millseal sealers, the Thalya lubricator and the Tethys H10 thermal washer. This integrated system aims to reduce manual workload while ensuring the traceability, safety and efficiency of sterilisation procedures.
