A reliable solution for your professional thermal applications.

Description

Controlled Drying on a Aarge Scale: The BE 800 from Memmert

The BE 800 oven from Memmert is the ideal thermal solution for laboratories looking for both high capacity and consistent precision. With an impressive net volume of 749 litres, it can handle large loads without compromising temperature uniformity. This model operates by natural convection, ensuring a gentle and even temperature rise, which is ideal for sensitive processes.

At the heart of the BE 800 is a PID controller accurate to 0.1°C, coupled with a 4-wire PT100 sensor for precise temperature detection. The integrated control module offers programming functions such as delayed start, programmed stops and loop cycles with setpoint maintenance. These parameters allow autonomous management of thermal processes without constant monitoring.

The BE 800 is equipped with an RS232 serial interface compliant with DIN 12900-T1, allowing direct control by a computer via the Celsius for Windows® software. This makes it possible to program and monitor temperature profiles with precision, while ensuring cycle repeatability. This model stores all parameters in the event of a power failure, ensuring a safe restart.

Designed for intensive use, the BE 800 is constructed from high-quality materials, including an internal and external housing made of DIN 1.4301 stainless steel, renowned for its corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning. It is also equipped with directional castors with brakes at the front for secure positioning in the laboratory.

In terms of safety, the oven is equipped with a class 3.1 emergency control device in accordance with DIN 12880. These protections prevent temperature overshoots in the event of a main controller failure.

Its compatibility with dry sterilisation processes at 180°C makes it particularly suitable for processing glassware, medical instruments or sensitive laboratory equipment. With a maximum capacity of 10 shelves supporting up to 160 kg, the BE 800 meets the highest logistical requirements.
