INB 200 Precision Incubator: Reliability and Optimal Thermal Control
The Memmert INB 200 is an incubator designed to provide a stable and uniform thermal environment, ideal for medical, biological, and industrial laboratories. It stands out with its natural convection, ensuring gentle and even heat distribution, thereby reducing the risk of disturbing sensitive samples.
The device features a microprocessor PID controller for precise temperature management. This system is complemented by a class A Pt100 sensor in a 4-wire circuit, ensuring accurate thermal parameter readings and consistent regulation. With its digital LED display, users can monitor the set and actual temperatures in real-time, along with the remaining operating time.
To ensure a high level of safety, the INB 200 is equipped with dual overheating protection. In the event of sensor failure, heating is deactivated approximately 3°C above the programmed temperature. If the switching system malfunctions, an additional relay takes over to prevent excessive temperature rise. An additional mechanical device limits the temperature to 10°C above the maximum allowed threshold, preventing uncontrolled overheating.
Constructed with a stainless steel interior cavity, the INB 200 is easy to clean and designed for optimal durability. Its 32-liter interior volume and compact dimensions make it suitable for confined spaces while providing ample room for various sample types. The exterior stainless steel door features a four-point adjustable double locking system, ensuring perfect thermal sealing. The incubator also includes an inner glass door, allowing sample observation without interrupting the thermal cycle.
The INB 200 covers a temperature range from +30°C to +70°C (with a minimum of 5°C above ambient temperature), offering flexibility for diverse scientific and medical applications. It operates on a 230V / 50-60 Hz power supply with a 440W heating phase, ensuring efficient energy performance.
