Active Infusion Warming Sleeve – Barkey autoline 4R XPT
The Barkey autoline 4R XPT is an innovative device designed to warm infusion fluids, blood transfusions and frozen fresh plasma (FFP) solutions, ensuring they are maintained at the optimal temperature until they reach the patient. This process is essential for preventing intraoperative or postoperative hypothermia, thereby enabling faster patient recovery while reducing hospital costs associated with thermal complications.
The Barkey autoline 4R XPT stands out for its ergonomic and functional design. It is a biocompatible silicone tubular profile, open on one side, which encompasses the standard tubing used in infusion. Available in two diameters (5 mm and 7 mm) and in lengths of 1.5 metres, it offers a solution that can be adapted to various medical protocols, including the dialysis fluid return line.
This heating sleeve works independently or can be connected to the Barkey autocontrol 3 XPT control unit, which automatically detects the connected device. Once connected, the system displays the target temperature and the actual measured temperature, facilitating real-time monitoring. The adjustable temperature range is between +33°C and +43°C, with a default temperature of +37°C, ideal for most clinical applications.
To ensure patient safety, the Barkey autoline 4R XPT is equipped with three independent temperature sensors, a visual and audible alarm system in case of error, and an over-temperature alarm if the actual temperature exceeds the set temperature by one degree. The smooth silicone surface is easy to clean, reducing the risk of infection and meeting strict hospital hygiene standards.
The absence of disposable consumables makes it economical and environmentally friendly to use. In addition, the device complies with European standards with CE 0123 and DIN EN ISO 13485 certification, guaranteeing quality, safety and compliance with medical sector requirements.
The Barkey autoline 4R XPT is a cutting-edge solution for maintaining the temperature of medical liquids, combining ease of use, heating performance and maximum safety.
