The Sigma 6-16KS refrigerated benchtop centrifuge is a compact and powerful piece of laboratory equipment designed to meet a wide range of routine and research applications. Whether for blood bags, oil containers, microtitre plates or containers from 0.2 ml to 1,000 ml, the Sigma 6-16KS delivers accurate and reliable separation results. It is also used in food laboratories, universities, colleges, environmental laboratories, and the oil industry. With twelve fixed-angle rotors and six swing-bucket rotors, as well as a wide range of buckets and adapters, it covers a multitude of applications.

The Sigma 6-16KS's modern user interface is equipped with the patented Spincontrol S 1-button control, offering intuitive operation and  optimum process safety. The clearly laid out display allows easy visualisation of the centrifugation parameters. The centrifuge offers 60 customisable programmes and 30 brake or acceleration curve profiles, allowing for optimisation of separation cycles and yields. Individual settings can be stored with password-protected access control , ensuring increased security. This feature is particularly useful in environments where data and process security is crucial.

The Sigma 6-16KS is also equipped with numerous options and accessories that make it an extremely flexible tool. Available accessories include an inert gas connection, a GMP version with water cooling, biosafe swing-bucket and fixed-angle rotors, clinical and cell culture packages, an RS 232 interface, and a DataSuite data documentation system.
