GRAM BioPlus ER500: Precision biomedical refrigeration for demanding environments
The GRAM BioPlus ER500 is a laboratory refrigerator specially designed to meet the rigorous standards of biomedical and pharmaceutical environments. It offers an adjustable temperature range from +20 °C to -2 °C, ensuring optimal storage of samples, reagents and heat-sensitive products. This model is designed to operate in ambient environments ranging from +10 to +38 °C with a glass door, making it ideal for laboratories, hospitals and research centres.
The BioPlus ER500 is built to the highest standards, with an all-stainless steel interior and a white lacquered or stainless steel exterior, depending on requirements. Its 60 mm polyurethane insulation with HFC-free cyclopentane propellant ensures exceptional thermal retention while complying with environmental standards. With a gross capacity of 500 litres and a net capacity of 365 litres, this model is spacious yet has an optimised footprint.
Temperature control is provided by a sophisticated Gram control unit, incorporating audible and visual alarms for the door and temperature, all individually programmable. A potential-free contact also allows integration with external alarm systems. In addition, a unique ventilated air distribution system ensures perfect temperature uniformity, while intelligent defrosting with automatic water re-evaporation ensures maintenance-free operation.
In terms of performance, the BioPlus ER500 operates with the natural refrigerant R290, recognised for its energy efficiency and low environmental impact. It consumes only 1.26 kWh per day and its noise level is limited to 46.2 dB(A), making it ideal for continuous use in shared working environments.
Its ergonomics and modularity are ensured by compatibility with up to 52 shelves or 13 drawers, allowing complete customisation of the interior space. A wide range of accessories is available to suit all specific storage needs.
