The BJPX-C300SS from Biobase is a carbon dioxide oscillating incubator designed to meet the rigorous requirements of laboratory cell culture. It combines the functionality of a CO₂ incubator and an agitator, reducing floor space while maximising sample capacity. The device accurately reproduces the physiological conditions necessary for cell growth through precise control of CO₂ concentration, temperature and humidity. It is equipped with a high-precision infrared sensor for measuring carbon dioxide, ensuring exceptional homogeneity and rapid recovery after the door is opened. In less than three minutes, the initial CO₂ concentration is restored, limiting disturbances to the culture medium.
Thermal control is provided by a six-sided heating system that ensures uniform temperature distribution throughout the chamber. Precise regulation maintains a maximum fluctuation of ±0.1°C and uniformity of ±0.5°C at 37°C, ideal conditions for sensitive cultures. Humidity is maintained between 50 and 95% RH with an accuracy of ±2% RH, preventing crops from drying out. A real-time monitoring system ensures constant and reliable control.
The internal design is based on a complete 304 stainless steel casing, including the vibrating table and shelves, with rounded interior corners to reduce retention areas and facilitate cleaning. This material, combined with an electrochemical treatment, gives the unit increased corrosion resistance and limits bacterial growth.
Sample safety and experiment reliability are guaranteed by multiple visual and audible alarm systems. The device signals any anomalies in temperature, shaking speed or CO₂ concentration. It also has an alarm for prolonged door opening and protection against overheating. The circulation fan is automatically regulated to prevent excessive evaporation of samples. When a door opening is detected, air circulation, heating and agitation are immediately interrupted to maintain internal conditions.
The BJPX-C300SS also features a 90°C steam sterilisation function, enabling complete hygienic maintenance of the chamber and reducing the risk of cross-contamination. Researchers can therefore work in a controlled, hygienic and reproducible environment without fear of unwanted variations or contamination.
Ergonomic and intuitive, its large colour touch screen allows all important parameters to be displayed simultaneously. Its clear menu-driven control interface, combined with password protection, makes it easy to use and secures settings. An integrated timer allows the duration of experimental cycles to be programmed precisely.
Its adjustable shaking capacity of 40 to 300 rpm, with an orbital movement of 20 mm and a maximum load of 15 kg, makes it versatile for various flask formats and volumes. Compatibility with a wide range of containers (from 50 ml to 5 L) offers maximum flexibility according to the needs of the experiments.
