Breast Biopsy System Vacora VF2019 - Fair Condition

The Vacora® VF2019 breast biopsy system from Bard is a portable vacuum-assisted biopsy device designed for the removal of breast tissue under ultrasound, stereotactic or MRI guidance. This stand-alone, cable-free system combines precision, ease of use and patient comfort. Thanks to its assisted suction technology, it delivers high-quality samples with minimal intervention. Lightweight and ergonomic, the Vacora® VF2019 is particularly suited to demanding clinical environments where speed, reliability and multimodal compatibility are essential.

Description

Vacora® VF2019 – The vacuum-assisted breast biopsy system that combines performance, autonomy and clinical comfort

The Vacora® VF2019 from Bard is much more than just a breast biopsy device: it is a complete, portable and wireless solution designed to meet the needs of clinicians when diagnosing suspicious breast lesions. With its integrated vacuum motor and battery operation, it requires no external connections during the procedure, making it ideal for imaging rooms, operating theatres and even mobile units.

The system's unique feature is its ability to combine autonomy, efficiency and compatibility with multiple imaging techniques, including ultrasound,  stereotaxy and  MRI. This allows a single device to be used in a variety of clinical situations, ensuring optimal continuity of care. The Vacora® VF2019 facilitates the collection of multiple samples without reinserting the needle, thereby limiting pain, the risk of bleeding and patient movement.

Its lightweight, ergonomic design makes it easy to handle, even in sterile environments. Its intuitive operation simplifies the procedure for both experienced radiologists and practitioners in training. The system allows for precise core sampling in the target area, with a clean cut of the tissue thanks to an integrated rotating blade.

The Vacora® is also recognised for the quality of the samples obtained: tissue is collected in internal chambers without being damaged, providing reliable pathological results. The windowed opening of the probe, combined with controlled vacuum, ensures optimal aspiration of the lesion into the device before cutting. This operating mode ensures a faster, more complete and less invasive histological diagnosis than traditional biopsy methods.

Another key advantage is its compatibility with a wide range of probes and  coaxial cannulas, making it adaptable to different types of patients and various lesion depths. Whether for microcalcifications detected by mammography or masses visible on ultrasound, Vacora® is the tool of choice in modern breast centres.

The Vacora® VF2019 embodies a new generation of vacuum-assisted biopsy devices: a combination of technology and simplicity, delivering safer and faster diagnosis under optimal conditions for both the patient and the practitioner.
