Robust and intuitive, it guarantees quick handling while maintaining excellent image stability and manoeuvrability.

Description

BX45 Olympus – Ergonomic excellence for routine microscopy

The ergonomic BX45 microscope from Olympus has been specifically developed to optimise working conditions in demanding laboratories. It is based on the universal UIS2/UIS optical system, ensuring optimal compatibility with lenses and accessories from the BX2 range, while delivering high image quality. This infinity-corrected system provides true colour reproduction, high resolution and excellent depth of field.

Ergonomics is at the heart of the BX45's design. Its tiltable viewing tube, available in several variants (variable tilt or straight tube), allows users to maintain a natural posture, reducing fatigue during prolonged observations. The controls are intuitively positioned and adjustments are smooth, thanks to a low-travel focusing mechanism with a stop limiter and tension adjustment. The integrated illumination with adjustable intensity and preset function allows quick adaptation to each type of sample without disrupting the workflow.

The modularity of the BX45 makes it a highly versatile tool. It allows for bright field, phase contrast, dark field and polarisation observation, with quick accessory changes via the turret system. Compatibility with a wide range of UIS2 objectives, including immersion and correction collar objectives, offers maximum flexibility to suit the needs of the analysis. In addition, its universal condenser incorporates an aperture ring with N.A. scale, facilitating precise light adjustment for each objective.

Robust, reliable and intuitive, the BX45 is built to last. Its metal base ensures perfect stability, even with intensive handling. It is also equipped with overheating protection, a passive cooling system and easy access to the lamp for safe replacement. Thanks to its consistent performance and ease of maintenance, it is the microscope of choice in clinical, hospital and university laboratories.

Olympus has thought about the maintenance and durability of the device: dust caps, easy access to optical components for cleaning and compatibility with marking and micrometry accessories guarantee long-term use, while ensuring traceability and accuracy of observations.
