The C-MAG HS 10: a precision ally for your laboratory work
The C-MAG HS 10 from IKA is a heating magnetic stirrer that combines robustness, precision and safety, designed to meet the needs of the most demanding laboratories. Thanks to its large heating surface of 280 x 280 mm, it can efficiently process liquid volumes of up to 15 litres, making it the tool of choice for work in chemistry, biology, pharmacy or the food industry.
This model features a high-quality ceramic heating plate that is not only highly resistant to chemical attack but also easy to clean. This surface offers remarkable thermal homogeneity and can reach temperatures of up to 500°C, with a safety limit set at 550°C to prevent any risk of overheating.
The C-MAG HS 10 features temperature control via a PID system, ensuring exceptional stability and heating precision. It can be used with an external PT1000 temperature probe, allowing the temperature to be controlled directly in the medium with an accuracy of ±0.2 K. This feature is particularly valuable when handling sensitive substances or when very precise temperatures are required.
Three operating modes are available: mode A (maximum safety with reset at each start), mode B (settings are retained, heating via the plate) and mode C (values locked for fixed protocols). These different modes offer optimum flexibility of use according to the requirements of each application.
The stirring speed is also continuously adjustable from 0 to 1500 rpm, ensuring homogeneous mixing of liquids. The gradual start-up prevents splashing, while automatic error detection (error codes on the display) enhances the safety and reliability of the device.
The device housing is compact (300 x 415 x 105 mm) and very stable, with non-slip feet ensuring safe use on the work surface. A clear interface with digital display allows real-time monitoring of the current temperature and setpoint. LEDs indicate the heating status and sensor operation.
Designed for durability, the C-MAG HS 10 requires no special maintenance. It is compatible with a wide range of IKA accessories (stand, vessels, magnetic stir bars, etc.) to adapt the device to specific applications.
