CardioMem CM 4000 – Simplicity and performance for long-term ECG monitoring
The CardioMem CM 4000 digital ECG recorder from Getemed is a comprehensive and reliable solution for Holter examinations, handling the entire process from electrode application to data analysis. Its ergonomic and ultra-compact design, combined with its light weight, makes it easy for patients to wear while providing healthcare professionals with a robust, intuitive tool that is suitable for intensive daily use. The CM 4000 can record up to three ECG channels with high accuracy, thanks to a sampling rate of 1024 Hz and 12-bit resolution, ensuring optimal fidelity of the signals collected.
Designed to reduce errors and optimise the quality of examinations, the CardioMem CM 4000 incorporates safety and assistance features such as electrode contact detection, continuous battery monitoring and alarms to signal any anomalies that could interrupt or compromise the recording. The large 2.4-inch colour touchscreen automatically adjusts to the orientation of the device and allows for smooth navigation through the menus, making setup simple, quick and intuitive.
In addition to standard ECG recording, the device can collect additional data on chest impedance, which is useful for monitoring respiration, particularly during sleep. It is also compatible with pacemaker detection (unipolar, bipolar and biventricular), further enhancing its clinical versatility.
The CM 4000 offers two types of patient cables, with 5 or 7 electrodes, to suit different recording protocols. Data can be transmitted via a high-speed USB connection or, optionally, via secure Bluetooth, enabling wireless configuration and bidirectional data transmission. An optional voice recording function also allows contextual information to be added directly to the patient file, avoiding confusion during multiple recordings.
The device's battery life depends on the model: the CM 4000 operates for up to 48 hours with a AAA battery. Data is stored on an integrated microSD card (≥1 GB) and can be transferred in just 30 seconds for a 24-hour recording.
