CB 210 CO₂ Incubator

CB210 CO₂ incubator is designed to meet the highest demands of cell culture. Thanks to efficient hot air sterilisation at 180 °C, precise temperature and CO₂ control via a drift-free infrared sensor, and a condensation-free Permadry™ interior chamber, it guarantees a stable, safe and sterile environment. With a capacity of 210 litres, optimal humidity control and an intuitive interface, the CB 210 offers reliable performance and excellent reproducibility, ideal for scientific, medical and pharmaceutical research.

Description

CB 210 – The BINDER CO₂ incubator designed for uncompromising cell cultures

The CB 210 CO₂ incubator/oven from BINDER embodies scientific rigour in the service of advanced cell culture. Designed to provide a culture environment with exemplary stability, it combines proven technologies with cutting-edge innovations to eliminate any risk of contamination, guarantee constant humidity and ensure precise control of atmospheric parameters, all in an ergonomic and hygienic design.

With its 210-litre interior chamber, the CB 210 meets the needs of laboratories that handle large volumes of samples or require rigorous experimental conditions. It features a 180°C hot air sterilisation system that complies with DIN 58947, Pharmacopoeia and ANSI standards, enabling complete disinfection without chemical additives or dismantling. This process guarantees a completely contaminant-free environment, which is essential for primary cultures or sensitive strains.

At the heart of this equipment is a drift-free infrared sensor that controls CO₂ levels with exceptional accuracy. This sensor ensures pH stability, which is essential for cell viability. Coupled with the VENTAIR™ system and Permadry™, which prevents condensation on the internal walls, the incubator maintains a homogeneous atmosphere, minimising local variations that could alter the cultures.

Ergonomics has not been overlooked. Thanks to an intuitive LCD user interface, scientists can easily view and adjust settings. The screen includes an electronic recorder, a real-time clock and a clear menu for easy control. The electronic self-diagnostic system with visual and audible alarms allows constant monitoring of the equipment, enhancing culture safety.

Designed for intensive use, the CB 210 features a seamless stainless steel internal chamber with integrated shelf supports. This design choice reduces areas where germs could settle and facilitates cleaning. Three perforated shelves are provided, expandable to eight, for perfect modularity.

Whether in a fundamental research, pharmaceutical development or biotechnology environment, the CB 210 is the benchmark solution. It combines precision, safety and reliability, while incorporating additional options to meet regulatory requirements such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11 via APT-COM™ software. Stackable, compatible with a wide range of accessories and equipped with modern digital connections, it is designed to support laboratories in their most critical tasks.
