CC-308B Huber – Precision thermostatic circulator for laboratories and industrial applications
The CC-308B from Huber is a high-quality thermostatic circulator designed to meet the precision and performance requirements of laboratories, research centres and industrial applications. It covers a wide temperature range from -20 °C to +300 °C (with refrigeration), offering great versatility for experiments and thermal processes. Its tank and all parts in contact with the fluid are made of stainless steel, ensuring corrosion resistance and a long service life, even under intensive use.
Thanks to its design incorporating both a pressure pump and a suction pump, the CC-308B allows optimal fluid circulation in internal or external circuits. The pressure pump ensures a maximum flow rate of 25 l/min, while the suction pump reaches 18.5 l/min, providing consistent thermal stability under all operating conditions. In addition, the device incorporates a cooling coil compatible with a water cooling system for even more flexible thermal management.
Pilot ONE: an intuitive and comprehensive interface
The CC-308B is equipped with the Pilot ONE controller, which features a 5.7-inch colour touchscreen and intuitive navigation based on easily memorable icons. This system facilitates setup and daily operation thanks to a favourites menu, colour-coded category navigation and software wizards that guide the user through critical settings. It also includes a multilingual technical glossary (13 languages available) and allows extensive connectivity via USB, Ethernet and RS232 for local or remote control.
To meet specific needs, the controller can be upgraded with E-grade upgrades. The "Exclusive" option adds adaptive TAC control, five-point calibration, a customisable graphic display and a 15-step programmer. The "Professional" option extends these capabilities with a 100-step programmer, linear and non-linear temperature profiles, dual setpoint and calendar-based start-up.
Optimal thermal performance and safety
The CC-308B offers temperature stability of ±0.02 K at 70 °C, ensuring reproducible and reliable results in even the most sensitive experiments. It complies with safety classification III / FL according to DIN 12876 and has adjustable overheating protection. Its bath volume of 7.6 litres (5.2 litres with displacement insert) and its useful depth of 155 mm allow a wide variety of samples or elements to be immersed for regulation.
In terms of electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility, the device complies with EN55011 and EN60034-1 standards, with an IP20 protection rating. The pump connections (M16x1) ensure compatibility with a wide range of accessories and circuits. Its compact design, with dimensions of 242 × 404 × 392 mm and a net weight of 18 kg, facilitates integration on a bench or in a larger installation.
