Description

Huber CC-515: precision and power for temperature control

The CC-515 from Huber is a high-performance refrigerated/heated thermostatic bath, specially designed for temperature control requirements in laboratories, research centres and industrial applications. Its operating range, from -55°C to 200°C, covers a wide variety of thermal processes, from intensive cooling to fast and precise heating. Thanks to its exceptional temperature stability of 0.02 K at -10°C, it ensures constant and reliable conditions, even for the most sensitive processes. Its robust design, with a stainless steel housing and evaporator, guarantees optimum durability and corrosion resistance, while being environmentally friendly thanks to a CFC- and HCFC-free refrigerant.

Intuitive control technology with Pilot ONE

The CC-515 features the Pilot ONE controller with a 5.7" colour TFT touchscreen and a user-friendly interface that makes navigation and access to settings easy. The system's ergonomics are based on memorable icons and colour-coded menu categories, saving time and reducing operating errors. Favourite menus and the One-Click function provide quick access to essential settings, while software wizards guide the user through the configuration process to ensure optimal settings. Connectivity is provided by USB, Ethernet and RS232 ports, enabling remote control and data transmission via Spy software. E-grade upgrade options extend the unit's capabilities, including adaptive control, multi-step programming and advanced calibration functions.

Optimised cooling and heating performance

The CC-515 stands out with its 3 kW heating power and impressive cooling capacity, reaching 3.3 kW at temperatures ranging from 100 °C to 0 °C. Even under extreme conditions of -40 °C, it maintains a power output of 0.6 kW. The integrated pump system allows both pressure circulation (up to 25 l/min at 0.7 bar) and suction circulation (up to 18.5 l/min at 0.4 bar), ensuring even and rapid temperature distribution in the bath. With a useful volume of 26 litres (minimum 19 litres), it adapts to different sample and tank sizes. The air-cooling design allows efficient operation without the need for an external water circuit, simplifying installation and reducing operating costs.
