Hitachi CC41R1 Probe: Imaging Accuracy for Urological and Gynaecological Examinations
The Hitachi CC41R1 probe is an ultrasound sensor designed to meet clinical needs in urology, obstetrics and gynaecology. This model is intended for transrectal use for observation of the prostate and surrounding organs, as well as for transvaginal use for exploration of the uterus and its adjacent structures. It can also be used for ultrasound-guided puncture procedures when used in combination with the EZU-PA5V sterile puncture adapter.
Compatible with Hitachi ARIETTA 60, ARIETTA 70 and ARIETTA 850 ultrasound systems, the CC41R1 probe offers 180° vision in the sagittal and axial planes, allowing for extensive and detailed visualisation of internal anatomical structures. It uses a fixed frequency of 6.5 MHz in both planes, ensuring stable and effective image resolution for diagnosis.
Its design includes an insertable section, an ergonomic handle, a 2.5-metre cable and a connector that connects to the ultrasound machine. The radiating tip, consisting of an electronic convex transducer, emits the ultrasound waves needed to capture images. The integrated orientation system facilitates image interpretation based on the position of the probe in the body.
Rated IPX7, the CC41R1 is waterproof and can be fully submerged when fitted with the WP-001 waterproof case, making it easy to disinfect by immersion. It is CE certified when used with an imaging system that also bears this marking.
For puncture procedures, the EZU-PA5V adapter accepts 16G to 19G needles. The display of puncture guides directly on the ultrasound screen allows the needle to be guided with precision. This feature is particularly useful in clinical settings where ultrasound-guided procedures are required.
The probe is compatible with a storage case and comprehensive documentation including safety, disinfection and sterilisation instructions. For optimal patient protection, it is essential to use sterile, compatible probe covers, such as the RB-945BP-NS model recommended by Hitachi.
The CC41R1 is intended for healthcare professionals trained in the use of ultrasound devices in a clinical setting. It offers a combination of reliability, manoeuvrability and imaging quality suitable for in-depth examinations of the prostate, uterus and surrounding tissues.
