Optimal agitation in CO₂ incubators: Celltron, the dedicated solution
The Celltron from INFORS HT is a benchtop shaker specially designed to meet the requirements of laboratories working with cell cultures in CO₂ incubators. Its compact design and corrosion-resistant materials make it a reliable and durable tool, perfectly suited to humid and CO₂-rich environments.
Designed for controlled environments
The Celltron is optimised for use in CO₂ incubators, with a tolerance of up to 20% carbon dioxide concentration. It can operate in a wide range of ambient temperatures from 4°C to 60°C and relative humidity from 10% to 98%, making it compatible with typical incubator conditions. Its ABS plastic housing is not only corrosion-resistant but also features an antimicrobial coating, ensuring optimal hygiene and protection against contamination.
Precise and quiet shaking performance
The Celltron's magnetic drive system ensures smooth and consistent rotation in a clockwise direction with an amplitude of 25 mm. The shaking speed is adjustable from 20 to 200 rpm with an accuracy of ±1% at full speed. This flexibility allows the shaking to be adapted to the specific requirements of each cell culture. The noise level remains below 70 dB(C), contributing to a pleasant working environment.
Simple installation and intuitive operation
The Celltron is compatible with an external control panel for use outside the incubator. This panel, made of PVC and safety glass, allows precise adjustment of the parameters. The device is powered by 24 VDC via a 1.5 m flat cable and a 2 m power cable. Its low energy consumption (approximately 4 W in typical use) and low heat emission (4 W) make it an ideal choice for heat-sensitive environments.
