The Cellvizio® 100 Series from Mauna Kea Technologies is a revolutionary confocal laser imaging platform that enables real-time visualisation of cells inside the human body. Thanks to its patented technology, this system transforms conventional endoscopic procedures into true optobiopsy examinations, providing clinicians with unparalleled diagnostic accuracy.
Designed to integrate seamlessly into hospital environments, the Cellvizio® 100 is compact, mobile and easy to use. It can be set up quickly and adapted to all types of standard endoscopes, making it a versatile tool for gastroenterology, pulmonology, urology and more.
The system is based on a high-speed laser scanning unit (488 nm, class 2M) and a confocal processor that processes images in real time while removing artefacts. It enables dynamic imaging at 9 to 18 frames per second, with a digitised fluorescence signal for optimal clarity. Clinicians can review sequences using the cine replay feature, facilitating analysis of key images.
The Cellvizio® 100 is compatible with a range of Confocal Miniprobes™ tailored to different medical specialties. These sterilisable probes enable targeted tissue exploration with a resolution of up to 1 µm and a depth of field adjusted according to clinical indication.
With its video output formats (video, S-video, SDI) and export options (.avi, .mpeg, .jpeg, .mkt), the system facilitates data archiving and post-processing. It is compatible with a surgical display, trackball, keyboard and foot pedal for intuitive use.
