Streamlined Operation

The ICE mini+ simplifies lens blocking into three easy steps. Firstly, place the marked lens on the table. Secondly, input all necessary data using the intuitive LCD touch panel, including lens type, frame type, grinding mode, and layout data such as FPD, PD, height of optical center, and size. Lastly, block the lens with the flexible 3-pin lens support, ensuring easy and accurate blocking.

Flexible Lens Stage

Equipped with a flexible lens stage, the ICE mini+ applies continuous upward stabilizing pressure to maintain the front base curve of the lens at the optimal horizontal position. This pressure reduces gaps and prevents sliding, resulting in highly precise blocking despite manual operation.

Quick and Easy Blocking

The ICE mini+ offers simple, fast, and improved accurate blocking, eliminating the need for complicated decentering calculations, lens drawings, or axis shifts during blocking. Operators can easily input hole position data on the enlarged lens image, ensuring precise blocking with minimal effort.

Advanced Shape Editing

With the advanced shape editing function, operators can quickly and easily modify the size of a lens shape to meet various customer needs. Certain parts of the lens shape can also be set to remain unchanged for design purposes, providing maximum flexibility in lens customization.

Versatile Network Capability

The ICE mini+ offers versatile network capabilities, allowing easy formulation of hole position information into digital data. The magnified data is editable using the stylus pen on the touch panel, and hole position display is also editable in the same way. This function is compatible with the Lex 1000 series and the ME-1000 series.

User-Friendly LCD Touch Panel

Featuring an 8.4-inch color LCD touch panel, the ICE mini+ offers clear display and easy operation. Traced actual outline and finished outline of the lens are simultaneously displayed in actual size, facilitating accurate assessment of the lens shape.

The ICE mini+ specifications include compatibility with lens sizes up to Dia. 80 mm, layout span ranging from FPD: 30.0 to 99.5 mm, and PD: 30.0 to 99.5 mm. It supports various lens materials and types, and offers precise hole position input in 0.01 mm increments.
