The Multifuge™ X4R Pro features Thermo Scientific™ Accumulated Centrifugal Effect (ACE™) technology, which ensures increased reproducibility of results. Additionally, SMARTSpin™ technology optimizes safety by maximizing acceleration, braking, and residual load balancing for each rotor and bucket option. The Auto-Lock™ rotor exchange system allows for safe and ergonomic rotor changes in just three seconds, without tools, providing maximum flexibility for quickly switching between applications.

ClickSeal™ biocontainment lids are designed for one-handed opening and closing, easy to operate even with gloves, and offer visual and audible closure indications for enhanced safety. These lids are certified by renowned institutions such as the National Institute for Health Protection in the UK and TÜV NORD CERT GmbH in Germany.

With up to 18 rotor options available, including Fiberlite™ carbon fiber rotors, the Multifuge™ X4R Pro maximizes performance and flexibility. The carbon fiber rotors offer exceptional durability with no cycle limits. The centrifuge's compact and ergonomic design optimizes workspace while offering safety features for easy sample loading and unloading.

In terms of energy efficiency, the Multifuge™ X4R Pro offers up to 40% energy savings over industry-standard protocols. Compressor scheduling and management also contribute to reduced energy consumption. Fiberlite™ rotors, weighing up to 60% less than equivalent metal rotors, accelerate and decelerate faster, reducing energy consumption per cycle.

Connectivity and data management are facilitated by features such as exporting event logs, rotor logs, and graph data via USB in CSV or PDF format. Programs can be downloaded and shared between units, and the optional SECURE-Spin™ mode provides secure control that complies with 21 CFR Part 11. Compatibility with Thermo Scientific™ Centri-Log™ Plus software allows for remote monitoring and sample tracking with a barcode reader.
