CF-120-PP ductless hood: safety and performance for handling chemicals
The CF-120-PP ductless hood from TopAir has been specially developed to provide a safe working environment for laboratories handling acids and aggressive chemicals. Thanks to its all-white welded polypropylene construction, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and outstanding durability in demanding environments. Its integrated sealed polypropylene worktop facilitates cleaning and limits the risk of contamination.
The CF-120-PP model has a high-performance filtration system based on an activated carbon filter, capable of effectively capturing harmful vapours and gases. This prevents contaminants from being dispersed into the ambient air without the need for connection to an external extraction system. The equipment incorporates a high-quality, low-noise fan manufactured by EBM in Germany, ensuring a stable air flow rate of 0.6 ± 0.1 m/s, or approximately 120 ± 20 FPM.
The hood is equipped with a sliding front window made of tempered glass, offering excellent visibility while enhancing user safety. The integrated LED lighting, located outside the fumigation area, provides a brightness of between 600 and 800 LUX, reducing energy consumption while ensuring optimal visual comfort.
The digital control panel allows intuitive management of the hood, including fan speed control, air pressure display, operating time and maintenance alarms. An integrated monitor also tracks the total operating time of the fan, facilitating maintenance management and filter replacement.
The CF-120-PP has been designed for easy maintenance with easy access to components and easy filter replacement. In addition, it complies with international standards such as EN-14175, CE and ASHRAE 110-1995, attesting to its reliability and safety in use.
