The electropolished stainless steel inner chamber is designed for perfect hygiene, with rounded corners and smooth surfaces that are easy to disinfect. The absence of complex seals or air ducts minimises potential areas for contaminant retention. To reinforce this biological barrier, the Heracell 150i GP incorporates exclusive ContraCon™ technology, a 90°C wet decontamination cycle validated against bacteria, mould, spores and mycoplasma. This function can be activated on demand without the need to dismantle the sensors or internal components.
Environmental parameters are controlled by a precise and intelligent regulation system. The iCAN™ touchscreen offers smooth navigation and real-time visualisation of temperature, humidity and CO₂ concentration curves. It also provides access to historical data, alerts (gas depletion, prolonged door opening, etc.) and easy programming of maintenance routines.
Constant humidification at 95% relative humidity is ensured by an integrated water tank without a tray, limiting handling and reducing the risk of contamination. This system offers recovery times up to five times faster than traditional ovens, particularly after the door is opened. A water level sensor with a visual alert on the user interface helps to secure the culture environment.
The Heracell 150i is a scalable model that can be adapted to the needs of each laboratory. It can accommodate up to 10 trays, offers optional segmented glass doors to reduce gas exchange, and can integrate an IR infrared CO₂ sensor for enhanced stability. It is also compatible with oxygen control for hypoxic or hyperoxic applications.
