ICO150 Memmert: CO₂ Incubator for Controlled Environments
The ICO150 CO₂ incubator from Memmert is designed to maintain stable culture conditions, essential for cell, bacterial, and tissue growth. With control technology and high-quality components, it delivers reliable performance for research laboratories, biotechnology institutes, and hospital facilities.
A key feature of the ICO150 is its precise electronic CO₂ regulation, based on a dual-beam NDIR sensor with integrated self-diagnostics. This technology enables fast and stable readings, with a setpoint accuracy of 0.1% and a maximum deviation of ±0.2%. Additionally, barometric pressure compensation ensures consistent performance regardless of atmospheric fluctuations.
Humidity control is managed by a Peltier element, limiting relative humidity to 93% ±2.5% RH, with active regulation allowing adjustment between 40% and 97% RH. Temperature regulation is ensured by two redundant Pt100 sensors (DIN Class A). At 37 °C, the system offers remarkable stability with a precision of ±0.1 K.
The TwinDISPLAY control system features two high-resolution color screens for easy access to key parameters. It includes functionalities such as SetpointWAIT, which ensures processes only start once all required conditions are met. Remote programming via USB or LAN is available through AtmoCONTROL software, ensuring full traceability of all cycles, even in the event of a power failure.
Constructed entirely of stainless steel (interior and exterior), the ICO150 offers a 156-liter chamber that accommodates up to 10 shelves (15 kg each), with a maximum total load of 120 kg. The insulated double-locking door preserves thermal homogeneity, while the inner glass door enables gas sampling without disturbing internal conditions.
Built-in safety features protect against temperature or gas deviations, with audible and visual alarms, and automatic heating shutdown in the event of a critical overtemperature.
