The Nidek OT-6020 - the versatile ophthalmic consultation unit 

This unit meets the needs of eye care professionals. With the capacity to accommodate up to 7 instruments in a small 1.30 m diameter space, this unit offers a complete solution for ophthalmological examinations.

The electrically adjustable tray height, ranging from 76 to 89 cm, ensures optimum adaptability for practitioner and patient comfort. In addition, disengageable electric rotation of the tabletop, with soft start and stop, and manual rotation, ensure maximum flexibility during examinations.

The unit features safety devices integrated into the tabletop to prevent any risk of crushing, thus ensuring patient safety. An electromagnetic brake locks the tabletop in the examination position, ensuring optimum stability during procedures.

The refractor console is cleverly positioned on the tabletop for optimum ergonomics. Plenty of storage space is provided for instruments such as the skiascope and ophthalmoscope, as well as for trial frames and reading tests.

For refraction, the refractor can be positioned either on an electrically-driven arm or on a manually-tilting, pivoting arm, offering great flexibility to meet the ophthalmologist's specific needs.

The examination chair is electrically height-adjustable by 20 cm, and swivels through 360° for easy access to the patient. With a maximum load of 220 kg, the chair is robust and stable. The approximate net weight of the unit is 250 kg, excluding equipment and desk.
