DUS60 Compatible Convex Probe C361-2: Ideal for Abdominal, Obstetric, Gynecological, and Urological Ultrasound Examinations

The convex probe C361-2 is compatible with the EDAN DUS60 ultrasound machine. Comprising piezoelectric crystals assembled in a slightly curved manner, this probe provides a broader exploration field. The online ultrasonic transducers of the probe capture ultrasound frequencies, generating signals for real-time image formation as the probe is moved over the diagnostic area. Connected to a screen, it produces moving images, ensuring exceptional image quality and remarkable precision. The choice of the probe depends on the studied area, body shape, and organ.

There are four types of probes distinguished by the intensity of their ultrasound emissions and their specific use:

• The linear probe, equipped with crystals aligned in a row, emits high-frequency ultrasound, ensuring clear image resolution.
• The convex probe is composed of crystals assembled in a slightly curved manner, offering a more extensive exploration than the linear probe. However, its ultrasound has a relatively low intensity, resulting in lower image quality than the linear probe.
• The endovaginal/endorectal probe is introduced into a cavity, such as the vagina or rectum.
• The phased array probe, with a smaller number of crystals distributed over a smaller surface than linear and convex probes.
