EUP-B712: Precision and Performance for Ultrasound Imaging and Biopsies
The Hitachi EUP-B712 probe is a high-tech medical device designed for healthcare professionals specializing in ultrasound imaging and ultrasound-guided procedures. Classified as IIa under Directive 93/42/EEC and compliant with IEC60601-2-37 standards, it ensures reliable performance and high precision for diagnostics and biopsy procedures.
This probe features a convex array transducer operating at a frequency of 3.0 MHz, enabling precise visualization of internal structures—essential for accurate diagnosis and guided surgical procedures.
Designed for abdominal imaging and biopsies, the EUP-B712 is compatible with multiple Hitachi ultrasound systems. When paired with a biopsy guidance system, it ensures optimal needle positioning, reducing the risk of error and enhancing the accuracy of tissue sampling.
One of the key advantages of this probe is its compatibility with the EZU-RV2S and EZU-RV3S magnetic sensors, enabling real-time imaging known as RVS (Real-time Virtual Sonography). This innovative technology combines ultrasound data with other imaging modalities, such as MRI or CT scans, for a more comprehensive analysis and precise navigation during minimally invasive procedures.
In terms of design, the EUP-B712 is made from biocompatible, hypoallergenic materials, ensuring safe and comfortable use for patients. With a weight of approximately 700 g (including the cable and connector), it is ergonomically designed for easy handling by practitioners. It supports cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization processes in accordance with current recommendations, including ETO gas and plasma sterilization.
The EUP-B712 probe is compatible with several accessories to optimize its use, including the EZU-PA7C2 needle guide for biopsy procedures and sterile protective kits from the Ultra-Pro II™ and Ultra-Pro 3™ ranges by CIVCO Medical Instruments.
