EUP-C514 by Hitachi: Precision and Performance for Diagnostic Imaging
The Hitachi EUP-C514 probe is an convex probe designed to deliver high-resolution imaging across various medical fields. It is specifically engineered to work with Hitachi diagnostic ultrasound systems, ensuring optimal compatibility and exceptional performance. Primarily used for the examination of abdominal and gynecological organs, it can also be utilized for biopsies when paired with the EZU-PA34T biopsy attachment.
One of the key features of the EUP-C514 probe is its ability to produce precise and detailed imaging, thanks to its central frequency of 3.5 MHz and a 90° scanning angle. This wide coverage allows for an in-depth visualization of internal structures, which is essential for reliable diagnostics. The probe’s acoustic output has been measured in accordance with the IEC60601-2-37 standard, ensuring safe and efficient use in clinical environments.
The EUP-C514 is classified as a Class IIa medical device under Directive 93/42/EEC and falls under the BF type classification according to IEC60601-1, meeting the high safety standards required for medical devices in direct patient contact. Made from biocompatible and hypoallergenic materials, it ensures maximum comfort during examinations.
For maintenance, the probe can be cleaned using manufacturer-approved detergents, disinfected with approved solutions, and sterilized using ETO gas or plasma sterilization. Its operating conditions include an ambient temperature range of 25 to 35°C and relative humidity between 30% and 85%.
Compatible with the EZU-RV2S and EZU-RV3S magnetic sensors, the EUP-C514 probe supports Real-time Virtual Sonography (RVS) technology, enabling real-time image fusion for even more precise diagnostics.
