CORIO CD-200F cooling/heating circulator: performance and versatility for laboratories

The CORIO CD-200F from Julabo is designed to meet the needs of laboratories and industrial environments requiring precise temperature control. With its wide temperature range of -20 to +150 °C, it is suitable for both cooling and heating applications. Its cooling capacity of 0.22 kW at 20 °C (with ethanol) makes it a high-performance device despite its compact size.

The bath is made of stainless steel with a filling capacity of 3 to 4 litres, offering a useful opening of 5.1 x 5.9 / 5.9 inches. The design of the cooling coil maximises the space available in the bath, facilitating the use of samples or additional accessories.

Ergonomic design and modern connectivity

The CORIO CD-200F stands out for its ease of use. All controls and safety features are accessible from the front of the unit, simplifying its integration into multiple configurations. Removable ventilation grilles and the absence of side vents allow multiple units to be placed side by side for optimal space saving.

The white LED display is very bright and easy to read, even from a distance. Temperature control is via an intuitive keypad with a display resolution of up to 0.01°C. PID1 control and the "Active Cooling Control" function ensure thermal stability of ±0.03°C, guaranteeing reliable and reproducible results.

The circulator is equipped with a USB connection for remote control, as well as M16×1 pump connections for easy internal or external circulation. It also includes an early warning system for low liquid levels, with visual and audible signals.

Environmental friendliness and enhanced safety

The CORIO CD-200F is available with two types of refrigerants: R134a and R290, the latter being a natural refrigerant with a global warming potential (GWP) of only 3, compared to 1430 for R134a. This significantly reduces the environmental impact of the device.

Safety is also at the heart of the CORIO CD-200F's design. It is classified as Class III (FL) according to DIN 12876-1, with an IP 21 protection rating. The lockable power cable ensures a secure connection, and the integrated bath cover limits heat loss while protecting the user.
