CORIO CD heating circulator: precision, reliability and flexibility for thermal control
The CORIO CD from Julabo is a heating circulator designed to meet the rigorous requirements of modern laboratories. This device is intended for temperature control of liquids in open or closed baths, with the option of connecting an external circuit for additional applications. It is ideal for baths up to 50 litres and offers an operating temperature range from +20 °C to +150 °C.
The CORIO CD stands out thanks to its exceptional temperature stability of ±0.03 °C and temperature resolution of 0.01 °C. Thanks to its precise PID control and clear LED display, the user can easily configure and monitor the temperature parameters. The intuitive control panel allows for smooth navigation through the menus and quick activation of functions.
The circulator is equipped with several safety features, including an adjustable high-temperature cut-off, overheating protection and a low-liquid level alarm. These features ensure safe operation even in demanding environments. If an alarm is triggered, the system interrupts the temperature control, emits an audible signal and displays an error code, ensuring a quick response from the user.
The CORIO CD also features a USB-A interface for recording temperature data and reading diagnostic information. It can be controlled remotely via a USB-B interface, allowing easy integration into automated systems. The autostart function allows the thermal application to start automatically after power-up, which is useful for scheduled processes.
In terms of construction, the components in contact with the fluid are made from corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel (1.4301, 1.4404/316L) and engineering plastic (PPS). This ensures high compatibility with a wide range of bath fluids, provided that Julabo's recommendations are followed.
The CORIO CD can be easily mounted on a bath or cooling unit. It is lightweight (2.6 kg) and compact (13.2 x 16.0 x 36.6 cm), making it easy to transport and install. External systems can also be connected via threaded or barb connections, with flow rate adjustment options to optimise fluid circulation.
The CORIO CD is a versatile, accurate and safe tool for thermal control in the laboratory. It combines performance, ease of use and safety, while offering connectivity options for integration into complex technical environments.
