Agfa's CR 30-X is a radiographic imaging plate scanner designed for healthcare facilities looking for an efficient, economical and compact solution for medical image processing. Designed for tabletop operation, this system integrates seamlessly into radiology environments thanks to its compatibility with erasable phosphor plates used in CR cassettes.
This digitiser is designed to digitise exposed X-ray plates, convert latent images into digital data, transmit them to a workstation and reset the plates for reuse. With its DICOM connectivity over an Ethernet network, the CR 30-X ensures seamless integration into hospital IT systems.
The CR 30-X is simple and intuitive to use. Simply insert a cassette containing an exposed plate, which the system automatically identifies, processes and returns after erasing. The user can view the image, apply diagnostic tools or annotations, and then export it to a printer or PACS. Two working modes are available: with Fast ID (via a dedicated station) or via an ID Tablet, which allows multiple stations to share the same digitiser. These options offer great flexibility, especially in high-turnover workflows.
The CR 30-X also stands out for its built-in security. The plate erasing and return process is automatic, reducing the risk of incorrect reuse. In addition, features such as manual erasing, emergency reading and plate identification data reading enable advanced imaging media management.
Optional components, such as the Powerware 5115 UPS system for protection against power outages, and Full Leg Full Spine accessories for spine or leg X-rays, further enhance the offering. The device complies with international standards (IEC 60601-1, ISO 13485, etc.), ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Thanks to its robust design, the CR 30-X is designed for continuous use in stable or mobile environments. It also features self-checking, error diagnosis, Class 1 laser safety and simple maintenance procedures. It requires preventive maintenance annually or every 12,000 plates processed.
