Stan S31 CTG monitor: advanced foetal monitoring for optimal care in the delivery room
The STAN S31 from Neoventa is a latest-generation foetal monitor designed to improve the assessment of the foetus's condition during labour. Using foetal electrocardiogram (FECG) analysis technology, this medical device provides reliable, real-time data on foetal heart rate, variability and ST segment changes, which are key indicators of foetal distress.
Unlike conventional CTG monitors, the STAN S31 uses a scalp electrode connected to a skin electrode placed on the mother's thigh to accurately capture the foetal ECG signal. This system allows direct measurement of the heart rate with beat-by-beat resolution, as well as full display of the ECG curve, which is necessary to detect ST segment abnormalities.
The STAN S31 monitor has an intuitive 15-inch touchscreen that allows smooth navigation between different operating modes: live recording, FECG signal inspection or consultation of recorded data. Thanks to its dual connectivity (internal and external transducers), it also allows simultaneous monitoring of twin pregnancies.
The system is designed to integrate into a demanding hospital environment: it offers large storage capacity (up to 800 hours), the ability to export data via USB stick or hospital network, and compatibility with various peripherals (thermal printers, vital signs monitors, etc.). It adapts to different clinical scenarios, whether spontaneous, induced or accompanied by maternal pathologies.
The STAN S31 is an essential decision-making tool in the delivery room. It automatically detects warning signs such as T/QRS elevations, biphasic waves and breech presentations, facilitating a rapid and appropriate clinical response.
