The CTM6 slide mounters from Thermo Fisher Scientific are an essential tool for laboratories that demand precision, speed and quality. With a throughput of up to 450 slides per hour, the CTM6 significantly optimises workflow. Two slide baskets can be loaded simultaneously, allowing continuous loading without interruption. The baskets are available in 19 or 30 slide versions, depending on the laboratory's requirements. The user can also precisely adjust the amount of mounting medium deposited on each slide, ensuring consistent preparation quality tailored to specific requirements.

The CTM6 is compatible with a wide range of standard coverslips (from 24 x 40 mm to 24 x 60 mm) and accepts different thicknesses of mounting media (toluene or xylene-based). It is equipped with an activated carbon filtration system to limit solvent emissions and an automatic dispensing needle cleaning station, minimising the risk of blockages or cross-contamination.

Designed for intuitive use, the CTM6 has a clear display screen with multilingual navigation (including English), ergonomic control buttons and customisable functions such as slide size selection, mounting volume and pump start delay. Daily maintenance is quick and easy: checking the solvent level, cleaning key components and testing the pump. Annual maintenance by a technician is recommended to ensure the optimal longevity of the instrument.
